A Wild Vivariums Update: Season 2

Updated: Oct 26, 2022

Wild Vivariums, our show about three enclosures featuring: White's tree frogs, southeastern five-lined skinks, gray tree frogs, and American toads, is now on season 2. This; is our first show, and it features many different opportunities to share the various animals in person and with different styles of videos. We use these animals for Critter Talks with nursing homes, church groups, and library presentations. We have started creating other mini-series like mini episodes with no narration and pet updates featuring a specific animal or group. We created Wild Vivariums to showcase the different animal groups and present methods for caring for amphibians and reptiles.

The animals are doing well: and we are already three videos deep into season 2. This season we will dive more into care tips, pet updates, and presenting different gadgets and devices to help pet keepers. Season 1 focused on re-introducing the pets on the channel in this show. Season 1 achieved its goal. Now season 2 is going to build from the success.

The main gear for the project is the Sony a6300 and iPhone XS. Even though these are dated, they produce stunning images, and we are working on implementing slow-motion and cinematic styles for camera angles and scenes. The production continues to improve as we understand more about Davinci Resolve. We hope to have an incredible season for 2022 with more episodes and more substance in those episodes. A new episode will debut Saturday, March 12 at 10:30 am. To watch both Season 1 and season 2, check out the links below:
